With close to 40 years of collective experience, Chris and Paul have seen the digital marketing transformation first hand. And after a decade of chats with smart industry colleagues at coffee shops and marketing conferences around the globe, they decided it was time to invite everyone to share in the fun. Email Geeks podcast is full of wit, wisdom, and a healthy dose of snark, shared with friends and colleagues from the email marketing world and beyond.
Paul Shriner - co-host
Paul brings a wealth of experience to the show. As a cofounder and original architect of AudiencePoint, Paul has worked with hundreds of consumer brands to level-up their email program engagement. He is a husband, a father of five (adoptive and bio), a programmer, an entrepreneur, a published author, and an ordained minister. He lives on Signal Mountain in Tennessee. Paul brings a light, but thoughtful perspective to conversations.
Chris Marriott - co-host
Chris was an early advocate and adopter of digital marketing, going back to the late 1990’s. His pioneering work was recognized by the Association of National Advertisers, and he had the honor of creating and teaching its first digital marketing training program for association members. He’s a husband, a father of six (4 + 2 stepchildren, which totals one more than Paul) as well as a musician and composer, having written and recorded music over the years with his bandmates. Today, Chris runs Email Connect, a consultancy focused on helping connect brands with the right email vendors.
